Flower Powder Graphite Workshop - Supply List
Instructor: Joanna Coke
Saturday, Feb. 25, 9:30 – 4:00
POWDER Graphite looks like gun powder… but ooohhh what beautiful tonal drawings can be made with it. Add a little regular graphite pencil and charcoal and you’ll have a fully developed value drawing.
This one day workshop will be broken into two processes. In the morning session, the students will follow the instructor, step-by-step, how to use and layer these materials in a sample drawing. The afternoon session will be the students’ opportunity to create their own drawing from a simple flower photo reference they brought into class to apply these techniques.
