Instructor: Wendy Thurlow
Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 17 & 18, 10:00 – 4:00
The wonderful world of rings! We will continue with the exploration of ring
making. We have covered so much in the last two classes but does it
ever end? NO! This time we will incorporate more stones, found objects
or enameled pieces into rings. I will have planned projects, BUT please try
to design a ring you have always wanted to make. Remember it does not
have to be an everyday ring. Think outside the box and more sculptural.

Where To Next?
Instructor: Tom McCarthy
Saturday, Jan. 28, 10:00 – 4:00
More workshops focus on how to do something. Let’s get together and
discuss what you are making and some ideas for exploiting its strengths. We
can also address the areas that you are not so happy with.
While this sounds a little scary and less exciting than a new technique, you
will leave with a new appreciation for your work and some ideas for making
it better. There will be no materials fee or tools needed. Just bring some
of your finished metalwork and be prepared to talk about it in a positive
atmosphere.. We will all learn from each other.

Are Your Photo Files a Mess?
Instructor: Paula Schoenwether Saturday, Jan. 28, 10:00 - 4:00
Whenever I work with people, one of the major problems I find is that pictures
are every which way and you can’t find anything you want. And, if you do find
it you can’t ever find it again. Today will be gruesome but when you leave you
will feel very satisfied. You will have many of your files organized with names
on folders with photos inside the folder! When you leave you will also know
how to do this for yourself. If you have Photoshop Elements you can learn
how to use its Organizer and make your workflow in Edit a walk in the park.

What Do All These Settings Mean? Learn How To Use Your Camera
Instructor: Paula Schoenwether Saturday, Feb. 18, 10:00 – 4:00
This workshop will be individualized so you can learn how to use your own
camera. It doesn’t have to be a fancy camera with bells and whistles. Just
bring what you have and learn about it so you can get better photos. The
main thing you will learn is how to stop using the auto function and start using
the other stuff. We will practice taking pictures around the neighborhood and
look at your results on your laptops. (If you don’t have a laptop, I have one that
can be borrowed. Sign up to use it ahead of time).
