Pin Weaving Instructor: Nancy Faris Supply List Foam core board Large clipboard to hold foam core Large straight pins Ruler/straight edge Pencil Fabric strips - 3" x 9", sewn into tubes Yarn Wright's pin weaving shuttle or 81/2”cable ties to use for weaving Large plastic needle Scissors Sewing machine Cutting mat Rotary cutter Seam ripper Stitch witchery Cotton backing fabric Iron Shadow box frame for finished piece (optional) These will be available for $10 each I will have enough supplies for everyone to use, but students are welcome to bring their own supplies and fabric strips/tubes if desired. A minimum of 12 strips are needed for this project. |
