You'll be given homework and will use these paper for that purpose. Materials: Plastic or cloth cover for table top (to keep it clean) 11 x 14 min. size Sketch Pad to be used as a journal for class work as well for note taking. Charcoal: Willow OR Vine in 3 sizes in DIAMETER: fine (about 1/8"), medium (1/4") and large (1/2") thicknesses Pencils: Carpenter's pencil (wooden rectangular shaped) AN D Lead Pencils (no wood covering) in 2 different weights, such as 4H, 2B, 6B Conté Crayons, 1 each of white, black and red (also comes in a small package of these colors) Value Finder Kneaded Eraser 1 White Plastic Eraser 1 Gum Eraser (tan in color) 1 Pad 14 x 17 Strathmore 400 Series (OR equivalent white drawing paper) 1 Sheet of Stonehenge OR Rives BFK off-white (quartered) 1 Sheet of Canson Mi-Tiente Paper of a COLOR, medium value (quartered) Rags So that you can wet 1 rag to clean your hands and store in plastic container and the other to dry them.
