ANNE ABGOTT
Anne has been painting in watercolor since 1992 and after endless hours of painting has developed her own technique based on her passion for color and design. She teaches throughout the US and Canada and has won numerous awards including the Lattner Gold award in the Florida Watercolor Society Show. Anne's book Daring Color was published in August 2007.

ROBIN BOWMAN
Robin is a fabric collage artist who has had a life long interest in the arts. Her first art show was in 2002 and in 2005 she established Robin Bowman Designs.

BRIAN BRADER
Brian has a B.S. in Art from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has taught pottery for more than 20 years.

ANNETTE CENTOFANTI
Annette Centofanti's life has focused around the " art world " for many years. She is an accomplished multimedia artist. She has won several awards for her innovative work. Many of her pieces are in private collections in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Her strongest passions lately are: clay sculpture compositions , 3 -D mixed media paintings , gypsy fusion, belly dance and modern contemporary " mask " dancing.

JEROME CHESLEY
Jerry has a BS and MS in Art Education and also attended the University of Art in Sienna, Italy.

JOANNA COKE
Joanna received degrees in Art History from Harvard, Education and Fine Arts from the University of South Florida and her Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Louisiana State University. Her approach to art combines the abilities of the applied and fine arts.

JOYCE CURVIN
Joyce Curvin specializes in sculptures made with unexpected materials. While she has worked in a variety of mediums over the past 25 years, her current obsession is paper mache over recycled objects. It's the "thrill of the build" to recreate and upcycle old stuff into new shapes with new life. Her work is available for viewing and purchase at galleries and better shops in Florida, New Jersey and Washington State.

DEBRA GALLERY
Debra Gallery graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with an Art Education degree K – 12. She has taught art in public and private school systems, as well as private lessons for 22 years. She is known for her versatility of skills and media. Debra is presently an art instructor at Stewart Elementary School in Bradenton.

MARIE GARAFANO
Marie Garafano is a professional artist from Philadelphia who received her BFA from The Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of the Arts. She taught for years at the University and also taught a children's book class at The Hussian School of Art. While in Philadelphia, she participated in numerous juried shows and served as a board member of The Philadelphia Water Color Society.

GRACIELA GILES
Graciela's love of art, as well as music, blossomed early and the two have always formed a creative duet in her life. The artist's award winning paintings have been selected for numerous juried and invitational exhibitions and her work is in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Jamaica and Argentina.

JULIE HANSON
Julie received her B.F.A. from the Ringling School of Art and Design. Julie's strong interest in color led her to the Cape Cod School of Art. Her artistic expression has been influenced by the plein air painters' magnificent use of color.

HELENE HIRMES
Helene has been involved with the arts all her life. She began sculpting in 1984 and spent two years working with the feminist artist Judy Chicago and six other artists executing the needlepoint tapestry “Birth Trinity” which has been exhibited in museums throughout the country.

JOHN HYNAL
John is a working photographer and instructor with 25 years experience which began at MCC. As the administrator of Exposures Photo Workshops of Sarasota he designed information filled, motivational programs designed to ensure studentsuccess.

DARWIN LEON
Darwin has a BFA from Minami International University of Art and Design. He was an art instructor at ArtCenter South Florida, Miami, FL and has had numerous solo exhibitions in South Florida

LINDA LUCAS
Linda studied Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology and Fiber Arts at Buffalo State. She was an FTD florist for 25 years and brings her in-depth knowledge of plants and flowers to her teaching. Linda has won numerous awards locally and nationally.

WENDY MARBLE
Wendy Marble was a self taught artist until graduating with a BFA from the University of South Florida in 2009. Wendy enjoys working in many media and combining them when the concept invites-or demands.

JANIS MEYER
Janis Meyer As a multi-media artist, Janis pushes the boundaries between book arts, paper, and fiber. Janis enjoys teaching workshops where color, design, texture, and humor lends a creative atmosphere and inspiration. A graduate of Kent State University, Janis has been in education and design for the past 30 years. Most recently she has studied at Penland School of Craft and John Campbell Folk School, and has work in private collections across the United States.

KATHLEEN MASUR
An avid watercolorist for many years, Kathleen now focuses on painting on silk; she creates and markets her award winning paintings and wearable art both in Pennsylvania and Florida.

JOE PALOTAS
Joe Palotas majored in Fine Arts at Columbus College of Art and Design. He has been active in the arts since 1997 entering his work in numerous exhibits and completing over 50 successful commissions.

CLARA RICKER
Clara Ricker is a jewelry artist. She teaches beginning and intermediate jewelry art to youth and adults. She has studied with John Cogswell, Pauline Warg and Juan Carlos Caballero Perez. She is also the President of the West Coast Chapter of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths.

CAROLYN RITTER
Carolyn Ritter holds a degree in Art Education from Auburn University and has taken numerous workshops from nationally known artists. Carolyn's award-winning art work has been published in catfancy, American style magazine, Atlanta style and design, and on the cover of the journal of the American veterinary medical association. In the past seven years she has exhibited in over thirty-eight juried shows and has been recognized with several first place awards.

HERBIE ROSE
Herbie graduated, Cum Laude, from the New York Phoenix School of Design, and he took post graduate courses at Pratt Institute. He worked in the advertising field, honing his skills in technical rendering and designing. His accounts included Colgate Palmolive, Texaco, Sherwin Williams Paints and Hertz.

BARABARA SIMMONS
A certified teacher who received her training at Ohio University and Western Carolina University, Barbara taught with outstanding success at Southeast High School. She has long been a favorite with watercolor students for her well thought out and easy to understand teaching techniques.

BARBARA DeTULLIO
Barbara DeTullio has her B.S. degree in Art Education from So. CT State University. She has taught at various locations including the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan Ct, and theMercy Learning Center in Bridgeport CT.

WENDY THURLOW
Wendy is an award winning jeweler/metalsmith. She has her BFA in Metals from the University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She was recently chosen as first place winner for publication in the book, Best of Artists and Artisans Books Series. She produces her own, one of a kind and limited edition jewelry.

COLLEEN WHITE
Colleen White is a Silversmith and Lapidary who creates unique adornment of stone and precious metals. Colleen is a certified member of the PMC Guild of America and PMC instructor. . Her works have been shown at various galleries and craft shows. Photos of her works have been published in Metal Clay Artist Magazine, Polymer Cafe Magazine, and Studio PMC, an international publication of the PMC Guild.
